In March 1959, Los Angeles and Nagoya became the first of the current 24 active sister city relationships that Los Angeles maintains.  That relationship turned 50 this year, and LANSCA is planning a dinner to welcome the new Mayor of Nagoya, Takashi Kawamura, and other city officials who are traveling to Los Angeles to celebrate the 50 years of sister city relations.  You are cordially invited to attend and join in the celebration.
